In My Business
How does one find a way to help people when they don't realize they might need help? I've found that because of today's mindset that they don't understand the American Legal system. There is this phrase that I often hear in my business, it goes like this, "You don't have any rights unless you know what your rights are."
So, the question is "How do I know what my rights are?" How do the wealthy know what their rights are? Most of the time they can afford a lawyer. Here is another phrase I hear in my business, (the wealthy) "See that lawyer? don't do anything without talking to him." (the Average Joe) " See that lawyer? what ever you do, don't talk to that lawyer...very expensive." Do you find this statement true? So if you do, in a way you agree that the legal system is broke.
I bet right know you're thinking, "I don't need a lawyer!" Here comes into play that American Mind Set of the Average Joe. Have you have ever been taken advantage of? Thought, "Well it was only that much, I guess I can let it go. The real question is, "Why do we think that way?" It seems that it comes down to an economic question , why spend two hundred bucks an hour to solve a one hundred buck problem, seems ludicrous. Do you agree with this? So, what do we do?
"What do we do?" That's the thirty five dollar question. I will let you ponder on this and answer that question in my next post.

The World is on FIRE!
Wow! what a scortcher of a night, last night. The upstair of our house I don't think it ever got below 92 degrees. My wife slept downstairs and I was hiding under a wet towel and fan. I hope that was the last of the hot nights, according to the weathermen it will be. We will see. My poor puppy (ok shes not a puppy) was hot I just kept taken her outside and hosed her down, along with ice cubes. She loves to crunch ice. :-)

Mom's Condition
Well, after a 10+ day stay at the hospital, mom is doing better, actually she has been out for a while and is doing much better. But her stay at the hospital the Dr.'s were able to solve most of her health issues, but the end results were her kidneys have quit working. She has had chronic kideny issues all of her life so it wasn't too unexpected. The doctors are giving her great care once the were able to diagnose the issue. She seems to be her old self again so thats hopeful.

Sorry to be so slow to blog

A lot of things have happened since I last blogged. Christmas, New Years, birthdays. It will not be easy to catch up on all those things but, I can give you the highlights.
My family was invited to go over to my sisters house Christmas day, but I found out Christmas Eve that my dog was not invited. It was a deal breaker for me, so we spent Christmas day with each other and went and saw, the movie about the dog that opened that day.
New Years was uneventful. and in February I turned 48. I was really bummed my mom didn't call me, matter of fact she never did call and wish me a happy birthday or even a crappy birthday. I guess I shouldn't expect anything more than that.
Alex is been in a spring play at Warner Pacific, called the "Curious Savage" what a cute play. Alex plays on of the crazies in the nut house. Here are a couple of pics and a video from the play, they are from my phone camera so the quality is poor.

Time to Fly
Well, were to leave Sacramento at 6:00 am however, the plane had to be de-iced before we could leave. The only problem was there was two others ahead of us.
So, about 7:20 we were on the runway wheels up. We were to arrive sometime around 8:00am. 8:20 it was wheels down (I think they broke the speed limit to make time.)

My Niece and Nephew

I would like to introduce to you my sister's children, Malia who is 12 and Weldon who is 3 years old. Malia likes to ride horses and has her own saddle in her room. She is shopping for a horse or pony. (I think she's crazy) She really loves her little brother, though he is a ball of energy. Malia has a motorcycle and shares a quad with her mother.
I remember my mother claiming having to put her leg over me to change my diaper. Guess what so does my sister to Weldon. We played with his electric race car set this morning.

In the Air
Well, I'm some where over northern California about 17000 ft. altitude and off to see my sister Dawn in Sacramento. I haven't seen her in over 6 years. Our dad died two years ago and we really haven't talked about it, I think we either will or pretend it never happened (LOL!). I think that is the Yamamoto way. That is what Marcie, Dawn and I call it. More later to come.

Time to Get Busy
Well, it has been some time and many false starts to get this going again. Thanks to Pastor Tim for the kick start. Lots of things have happened since I last up dated so I will cover the highlights (if I remember).
Our Church got a new mixing board and speakers set, My daughter is back to school and can't wait for winter break. My Mom is doing OK, but I worry about her health. My oldest sister is currently staying with my youngest sister. My nephew Jason is in boot camp learning to be a paratrooper, My oldest sister's daughter is living in my brothers basement (turned into a nice apartment for her). I'm going to go see one of my other sisters along with her children, Malea and Weldon in in California soon for a few days . I change positions with my company instead of debugging online game scripts now I provide desktop computer support along with 5 weeks of classes (oh snap!).
I've got details so when I have more time I will fill in the blanks. I hope all who reads this will have a very happy Christmas and a thrilling new year.
for now,
Bryan
